By following the simple instructions that are provided, you will be able to match the pitch, noisiness and loudness of your tinnitus to find the best sound for your unique tinnitus relief.

With its flexible controls, Whist can provide any of the types of sounds produced by custom masking devices, at a small fraction of the cost. With nearly thirty years of experience in hearing science research and development, Sensimetrics creates products to support and protect healthy hearing.

"Whist is very helpful to me when I experience tinnitus. Prior to Whist, I would have to find noisy places to work in so that the ringing in my ear wouldn’t bother or distract me. Now, I can stay in the comfort of my room and let Whist generate sounds that relieve my tinnitus. Whist’s sounds are completely customizable – I get to create ones that both mask my tinnitus and bother me less than the ringing in my ear. I would highly recommend Whist to anyone bothered by their tinnitus and looking for relief.” Laura D., Age 20, Tinnitus Sufferer

Useless
Just matches the tinnitus frequency. Doesnt cancel it.
Starts loud
Yep. In the long paragraph it says start with headphones not fully in your ears. How many are going to do that? Nope, it starts at medium high volume with bad noise. Just silly. Start volume low ok?
Be careful
Tried this app out for two weeks, had a tough time with the frequency or lack of exact frequency with the slider, would be nicer to manually enter frequency range. Let me just say this, my tinnitus has changed!! It actually became louder and added frequency pitches to my left ear. If you ask me, I think something this serious as tinnitus is better left to the doctor!!! I made a huge mistake by trying this app.
Can u add?
This app is great, besides making me think the sound is coming from the app and not my head, my wife has a better idea of what I consistently hear. Can you add a slow fade besides the pulse feature? I think a fade would be a better treatment for tinnitus instead of an instant stop. Thank you :)
Useless
Dont bother with this app as it does nothing to calm tinnitus with its annoying sounds.
